Ing. Libor Ansorge, Ph.D.

He was born in 1973 in Chomutov. He studied at the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Czech Technical University in Prague, majoring in water management and water construction, and graduated in 1997. He received his Ph.D. in the same faculty in 2017 in the field of environmental engineering. During his professional career, he worked mainly in public and state administration. In 1997 he joined the Municipal Office in Jirkov; in 1999–2001 he worked at the State Land Reclamation Administration and Agricultural Water Management Administration. In 2002, he joined the Ministry of Agriculture, where he held the positions of desk officer and later head of department. Professionally, he was mainly engaged in water planning. Since 2011 he has been working at TGM WRI as a researcher and since April 2018 in the position of Deputy Director for Research and Professional Activities.
