TGM WRI hosted a meeting between the Minister of the Environment and the Ambassadors

At the invitation of the Minister of the Environment Petr Hladík was visited by representatives of about 20 embassies of different countries. After the opening speech of the minister, a short presentation by the Director of TGM WRI Tomáš Fojtík, during which he presented the history and present of the T. G. Masaryk Water Research Institute and its key activities not only within departmental research. Afterwards, the guests had the opportunity to view a functional physical model of the Podbaba basin in the large model hall, on which we examine various hydrological situations and on which a 10-year flood was presented to the ambassadors in real time. The event ended with informal talks, not only on the topic of water management.
